Weatherford Christian School provides a positive, safe, Christ-centered learning environment in that is completes the “Three Stranded Cord” where church, family, 
and school work together to ensure the students are motivated to serve God and man, academically, spiritually, physically, and socially.
The school is a non-profit institution led by an independent Board of Directors and is accredited by the National Christian Schools Association (NCSA). it is also a registered member of the Association of Christian Schools international (ACSI). WCS admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
ACADEMIC COMPETITIONS
WCS students take part in numerous ACSl academic competitions including Speech Meet, Science Fair, Math Olympics, and Art Fair. These competitions provide students with opportunities to be challenged and excel academically outside of the classroom.
ATHLETICS
The WCS Athletic Program provides an environment where students can develop physically while learning sportsmanship and developing Christian character. Upper elementary and secondary students participate in football, volleyball, soccer, basketball, tennis and track under the guidance of Christian coaches.
SERVICE
Learning to serve an-d give back to the community is an important part of a well-rounded Christian education. Students collect canned food monthly and deliver it to the Center of Hope. They also are responsible for a weekly Meals on Wheels route, adopt families for Christmas, and participate in other class projects that help them learn the value of service.
THE FACULTY
All Kindergarten through 12th grade teachers are state certified and have numerous years of experience. The faculty also includes two remarkably gifted Pre-Kindergarten teachers.
The student-teacher ratio is limited to 12:1 in Pre-Kindergarten, 15:1 in Kindergarten, and 20:1 in all other grades. WCS values small class size as an important factor in providing a quality education.
