Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered educational environment where children are equipped for lives of Christian leadership and service.
Academic Program
WCS provides a challenging, college preparatory academic program that includes technology training, foreign language, and fine arts. Self-discipline and clear, concise expectations are emphasized in an atmosphere of mutual respect. Faculty members provide extra help as needed, and tutoring can be arranged. Bible is part of the daily curriculum and all grades participate in Chapel Service on a weekly basis. WCS uses nationally normed standardized testing on an annual basis.
Basis for Acceptance
- Previous Records – reflecting academic potential and performance, attendance patterns, and student discipline history.
- Achievement Test Scores – demonstrating grade level capability with scores in the 50th percentile or higher on a nationally normed test. ISEE, ERB, Stanford or Iowa will be considered.
- Family/student Interview – evidencing a commitment to Jesus Christ and Christian education.

Application Process and Checklist
- Complete application and pay $50 application fee.
- If applying for Lower School, submit a copy of the birth certificate. Students applying for Pre-K4 must be 4 years of age on or before September 1. Students applying for Kindergarten must be 5 years of age on or before September 1.
- Submit a copy of the academic transcript or grade report from the present semester and previous year.
- Submit a copy of the health immunization record as required by state law.
- Submit the recommendation form(s) to the appropriate person(s) and have them returned to Weatherford Christian School.
- Submit nationally normed test scores. If test scores are not available, a testing session will be scheduled by the Admissions office.
- Upon completion and acceptance of the above items, a family interview will be scheduled with the Principal. The office will contact you to set up your appointment.
